If only...

When the sun rises
A new day begins
When the moonlight shines
My soul sings

When the birds start to fly
Round and round
From dawn till dusk
All year round

When the day is over
They release half their souls
When dreaming their dreams
Their hopes and their daily goals

When the clock is ticking
They lie there unaware
Their lives are ending
If only they knew, they'd care…
