In her Darkness...

Sleepy eyes stare in to the darkness
Longing dreams await
Hopeful thoughts disappear,
and get closed by the gates
Fearful features remain on her face
Lonely gestures she makes
Tearful eyes await in the darkness
for peaceful time she craves
Regretful she will be,
when she ends in the darkness
Truthful record when she sees of her life
Wishful, oh yes! She will be,
when there's no hope left to be freed…
