Footprints
I have walked on for miles and miles Seventeen years on it's expand But never I think have I lost control of my feet As I followed the footprints in sand
I have seen those of the few that I walked with Sink deep in to the sand of this land But even now they are unaware of their defeat As they ignored the engraved footprints in sand
It lightens me to imagine That these prints are not ordinary On which I desire to stand But I know that it will protect me (insha'Allah) From the Hell's great heat Only if I step on to these footprints in sand
One piece of advice I seek to give To all my companions & To all that live and shall live on this land Follow the footprints of Muhammad (Saw) Just follow his footprints in sand. Author: Sister Sahar |
